The Purina Parent Club Partnership (PPCP) Program
The PPCP Program supports canine health research, breed education and rescue efforts – and you can support it just by being a Pro Club member. Funded by the AKC Canine Health Foundation, in partnership with participating national parent breed clubs, the PPCP offers Pro Club members the opportunity to support the participating national parent breed club of their choice.
How It Works
Earn points and give back. For every $100 of qualifying Purina Points earned,* Purina donates $10 to the participating national parent club on your behalf. Of this donation, half goes to the breed club and half to the club’s Donor Advised Fund at the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
*Your participation in PPCP will not reduce the points you earn in your personal Pro Club Rewards Program.
The Impact
Since the PPCP Program began in 2002, more than $7 million has been raised for canine health research, education and rescue efforts. Additionally, national parent clubs have used their funding to support:
- Educational outreach such as scholarships, library support and youth programs
- Conservation education programs
- Judges’ education seminars
- Breed-specific and responsible dog ownership information
- Rescue programs, including funding for adoption events and health care for rescued dogs
How to Participate
You must be a Pro Club Rewards member to participate. Pro Club Rewards members must individually declare their participation in the program and identify the national parent breed club** that will receive their Purina Points. Simply contact us to get started!
**Pro Club Rewards members can only earn funds for their national parent breed club if the national parent breed club is enrolled in the PPCP Program.
