About Raj Naik, DVM, DAVCN:
Raj Naik, DVM, DAVCN (Nutrition), developed a special interest in clinical nutrition while at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he completed a rotating internship at a large specialty hospital in New Jersey. Thereafter, his love of nutrition brought him to the University of Tennessee to pursue specialty training in small animal clinical nutrition. Dr. Raj Naik’s trust in Nestlé Purina’s innovative research and formulations led him to join the company shortly after completing his residency. As a Veterinary Communications Manager and one of several Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists at Purina, Dr. Raj Naik serves as a liaison between Purina and the veterinary community. Dr. Raj Naik serves on the Membership Committee for the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
