Annie Balotti

Hello, My name is Annie Balotti and I am the Purina Event Center Area Manager.  I have the great pleasure to work at Nestle Purina’s state of the art facility dedicated to the world of dogs.  We host several All-Breed dog shows, numerous National Specialties and various other ever expanding dog events. 

I began with Ralston Purina in 1998 after finishing my undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in Biology at LindenwoodUniversity in my home town of St Charles, MO.  I worked at the Research facility that used to be where the PurinaEventCenter is presently located in Gray Summit, MO.  In 2002, I had the great pleasure of moving to the Breeder Enthusiast Team and I have found my home within this group of amazing individuals.  In 2006, I continued my education and finished my Masters in Quality Assurance from WebsterUniversity in St Louis, MO. 

My first dog was the sweetest Labrador I have ever met so labs will always have a special place with me but, Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s quickly caught my heart after joining this group and now they are a staple in our home.  Two of our resident corgi’s, Ch Gaylords Portier (Sidney) and Ch Gaylords Moonshadow (Roz) finished their championships with us and our latest charge, Raisin will hopefully follow in her grandmother and great grandfathers footsteps.  Another passion in our home is horses and we breed and raise Connemara Ponies under the barn name, Duet Farms.

I can say that I am one of the lucky ones that LOVE their jobs.  I work for a great company that puts such a high standard not only on its product but also greatly values its employees!   I also get to work with an amazing group and my job has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most incredible individuals in the country!
