Reaching out to sporting dog enthusiasts, Purina representatives took part in January at Pheasant Fest sponsored by Pheasants Forever. The event, which drew 21,743 people including Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, featured vendors and activities related to wildlife conservation, upland game bird hunting and wildlife habitat restoration. Purina experts gave seminars on training bird dogs for upland game hunting. Purina has attended the annual event since its beginning in 2003. This year’s event was held at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.
